Viacom is bullish on new MTV programming chief Susanne Daniels' ability to reverse the channel's ratings slump, CEO Philippe Dauman said. "We hired a top, top programmer that we've been after for years," he said at an investor event. Dauman also plans to invest in new programming for TV Land, Nick at Nite and CMT to woo older viewers from broadcast networks.
