The HHS on Tuesday issued rules for health insurance exchanges under the Affordable Care Act that expand requirements for prescription-drug coverage from a previous proposal. Plans must cover the same number of prescription medicines as the benchmark plan in their states, said CEO Dan Mendelson of analysis firm Avalere Health. "This makes the exchange offerings more consistent with what employers offer," Mendelson said.
