Pepsi Beverages Company of Auburn, Maine, has joined with the local Bassmasters fishing club in a one-day campaign to pick up trash and clean the area around Lake Auburn. The project, scheduled for Saturday, April 27, is expected to bring out 20 to 30 volunteers from Pepsi and another 30 from the Androscoggin fishing club. The cleanup is part of the company's "Pepsi Supports Surrounding Towns," an annual effort to help collect trash and litter.
