Officials of Sioux City, Iowa, and Penn National Gaming restarted negotiations on an extension of the Argosy Sioux City casino's lease through a teleconference Wednesday. The city said a tentative agreement between the two parties is expected in the coming weeks. Eric Schippers, senior vice president of public affairs for Penn National Gaming, described the conference call as a "preliminary discussion. "We're anticipating a proposal from the city on the lease and we'll withhold judgment or further comment until we see it," Schippers said.
