A new CDC study shows a sharp increase in prevalence of diagnosed diabetes in the U.S. To help address the rising prevalence, AHIP is collaborating with the CDC to implement the National Diabetes Prevention Program. AHIP is partnering with Aetna, EmblemHealth, Florida Blue and Molina Healthcare to make the program available to individuals at high risk for type 2 diabetes in four states.
