Better, a startup funded by the Social+Capital Partnership, has launched a beta version of an iPhone application that leverages the Mayo Clinic's database to offer medical information and assistance to patients across the country -- or even in other countries. The app includes a symptoms checker and a call option that enables users to talk to Mayo Clinic nurses and doctors.
