Vitiligo may lower skin cancer risk, study finds
Patients with vitiligo had a threefold lower risk of developing melanoma or nonmelanoma skin cancer, according to a study of 1,307 patients with the skin condition and their partners. The findings appeared in the British Journal of Dermatology.
