Healthy behavior may reduce heart risks in chronic kidney disease
U.S. researchers tracked 3,670 patients with mild to moderate kidney disease and found that those who adopted a healthy lifestyle were 35% to 45% less likely to suffer from a cardiovascular problem or death. The study, presented at Kidney Week, revealed that healthy habits did not significantly lower the odds of chronic kidney disease progression.
