Refineries prepare for Isaac
Refineries along the Gulf Coast are not expected to be damaged by Tropical Storm Isaac, but about 1 million barrels per day of capacity is expected to go offline ahead of the storm, which may soon become a hurricane. Refineries expected to continue operations include Marathon Petroleum's Garyville, La., site, albeit at a lower rate of output, and Chevron's Pascagoula, Miss., site.
