Study tracks impacts of EHR use on care quality
Physicians who employ EHRs as part of their standard patient operations deliver a higher quality of care, according to a new study published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine. Researchers noted doctors using EHRs performed significantly higher on screening measures for breast cancer, diabetes, colorectal cancer and chlamydia.
