Mont. panel offers several pipeline safety proposals
Energy firms need to upgrade their technology to strengthen pipeline safety, according to a proposal from the Montana Oil Pipeline Safety Review Council. The panel was formed by Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer following a spill from an ExxonMobil pipeline in the state, in which about 1,500 barrels of crude leaked into the Yellowstone River.
