Teacher in Pakistan takes up cause of female education
Despite a recently passed law requiring compulsory education for all children in Pakistan, many challenges reportedly exist regarding the education of girls in the country. One female teacher, called Chand Bibi, is working to give girls and women opportunities by operating a school that offers lessons in reading, writing, the Koran, math and sewing. Chand says she is working with limited resources in an area that is still evolving in its position on the education of women.
