Texas has chosen AGL Constructors to build the Interstate 35E project. The JV, including Archer Western, Granite Construction and The LANE Construction, was awarded a design-build base contract worth $849 million, which could rise to $1.2 billion. AGL will rebuild 28.2 miles of the road, including two reversible managed lanes. The entire project will cost an estimated $4.6 billion and will be built based on funding availability.
