Chronic lung disease patients who had heart attacks had up to a 25% greater risk of bleeding than patients without lung disease who had heart attacks, according to a study involving more than 150,000 patients in the U.S. Researchers also found that CLD patients with a non-elevated ST had a 20% higher risk of dying during hospitalization.
