Turkish nuclear medicine firm Eczacıbaşı-Monrol, part of Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceutical and Industrial Investment, said it will acquire Capintec, a U.S. nuclear medicine instrumentation manufacturer. The Turkish company will transfer all products and technical systems from Mol-Image, a company it bought last year that focuses on radiopharmaceuticals and radiation-proof devices, to Capintec upon acquisition.
