Okla. wind farm starts sending output to Alabama Power
TradeWind Energy's Chisholm View wind farm in Oklahoma has started sending power to Alabama Power as part of a power purchase deal. The two companies are also working on another wind project in Kansas, which together with Chisholm View, would deliver up to 404 megawatts of electricity, or enough to supply 115,000 households.
