Renewable energy giant NextEra Energy has completed construction of its first wind farm in Ontario, the first among its seven $1.5 billion wind power investments in the Canadian province. The 10-turbine Conestogo Wind project has commenced operation and is expected to produce enough energy for 5,700 homes annually. Six other wind energy programs are under development in the London region and the company is still looking at building additional wind farms in Ontario.
