Naikun Wind Energy Group is making progress in building Canada's first offshore wind farm, in the Hecate Strait. The multiphase project, which is expected to boost British Columbia's renewable energy plan, will consist of 110 wind turbines, reduce the province's carbon emissions by 450,000 tonnes and provide electricity to 200,000 homes.
