Samsung, Verizon add app capabilities for FiOS TV
Samsung Electronics America and Verizon Communications have expanded the capabilities of FiOS TV on the Samsung Smart Hub, adding 49 more television channels and offering access to Verizon's FiOS video-on-demand content. The FiOS TV application for Samsung Blu-ray players and Internet-connected TVs takes the place of a set-top box. New channels for FiOS TV on the Samsung platform include CNN, Comedy Central, HBO, TBS and TNT.
