A platform of funds domiciled in Hong Kong is in the cards for BlackRock in the new year, with launch likely in the first half, sources say. BlackRock would be joining the current roster of 150 Hong Kong-domiciled funds, including a QFII product introduced this week by Franklin Templeton.
