Cleveland Clinic and Community Health Systems are joining forces to "enhance patient care, improve access to health care services, reduce costs and drive operational excellence,” the groups said in a release. The two groups, which will remain separate entities, will focus initially on: quality alliance, which will be achieved through clinical integration and other measures; cardiovascular services; and clinical and operational services, including initiatives such as telemedicine.
