Big Blue tapped for multimillion-dollar cloud project in Ohio
The state of Ohio is preparing to embark on a $267 million, decade-long network revitalization program that will rely on hardware, software and services from IBM and lay the groundwork for a push into the private cloud. "We are working with IBM to significantly reduce the complexity of our infrastructure, improve data center operations and increase service delivery for state agencies and the constituents they serve," said Stu Davis, the state's chief information officer.
