A Wisconsin federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit Apple filed against Google over patents. Google acquired the patents when it took over Motorola in May, and it is required to license the patents to other companies. Apple and Microsoft say the royalties on the patents are too high. The judge questioned whether she had the authority to hear Apple's claim before tossing the suit.
