Study finds link between celiac disease and fertility problems
An online survey found women with celiac disease have more trouble getting pregnant and have higher rates of miscarriage, preterm delivery and cesarean section, researchers reported at the ACG annual meeting. The study, from Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia, also noted women with celiac disease had fewer years of fertility.
