Obama and Romney tackle health care several times in 2nd debate
President Barack Obama and challenger Mitt Romney addressed health care on several occasions during their second debate at Hofstra University on Long Island, N.Y. The first instance came more than 30 minutes into the event, when Obama touted two elements of the Affordable Care Act, namely copayment-free preventive services and contraceptive coverage. Romney expressed his desire to repeal the ACA, which he called "an extraordinary deterrent" to economic recovery.
