Researchers at the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation analyzed county-based data to create a list of the healthiest and least-healthy counties in each state. They said least-healthy counties had higher mortality rates, more than 20% of children living in poverty, and higher rates of smoking and physical inactivity.
