Swedish school blurs gender lines
A preschool in Sweden does not address students using the pronouns "him" or "her," instead calling them "friends" or using a gender-neutral term. Students also are not encouraged to embrace traditional gender roles, such as girls playing with dolls. Despite its popularity among teachers and parents, the method has drawn some criticism from those who say the school is seeking to reverse traditional gender roles.
