Retailers aim for "superior, consistent customer experience"
As retailers prepare for the holiday season, 60% say a top priority is delivering a consistent experience, while 29% say they plan to hire more seasonal workers than they did in 2011. "Retailers will rely on the union of people and products to make customers feel good about their shopping experiences no matter which channel is utilized for the transaction," said Dave Bruno, director of marketing at RedPrairie, which surveyed 250 retailers for the report "Holiday Hiring Snapshot."
