Intel, Toshiba score viral hit with body-swapping Web series
To promote a new laptop, Intel and Toshiba hired Pereira & O'Dell to create a Web series telling the story of a man looking for love while waking up in a different body each day. That conceit let the company cast dozens of ordinary people in the lead role, creating buzz that eventually saw the video series score 55 million views. "What we've learned is that viewers will come for the innovation of a project like this, but they will stay for the story. The story matters a lot," says Pereira & O'Dell co-founder PJ Pereira.
