Changes could gain votes for Senate immigration bill
A bipartisan immigration bill in the Senate needs tighter border-security provisions to win votes in the House of Representatives, said Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. "What they have in the Senate has zero chance of passing in the House," Paul said. Meanwhile, newly announced support from Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., could help the bill win 60 votes in the Senate, while Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said he will vote for the bill only if border security provisions are strengthened.
