Robert E. "Bob" Hallahan, the spokesman for the NAB in the 1970s and '80s, died on Oct. 12 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Md. He was 80. Hallahan served as the first director of NAB's Public Relations News Bureau, fielding media calls and handling media relations at conventions and meetings.
