Dental practices can save money by adopting environmentally friendly strategies and products, panelists at the American Dental Association's annual meeting said. Switching to reusable bibs, wraps and pouches, mercury-free amalgams and digital imaging protects patient health and the environment and ultimately reduces costs, the panelists said.
