Texas students in Judson, San Antonio and South San independent school districts have been taking field trips to connect them with working professionals and expose them to potential careers. Funded by Motivate Our Students Texas, an organization created by a Texas cardiologist, the trips have included a recent excursion to a manufacturing firm, where the CEO spoke about the need for more skilled, educated workers.
