ActiveHealth Management and NuVal have teamed up on the NuVal Nutritional Scoring System application that is designed to help people choose healthy food. The app scores food based on nutritional value, connects users to a database of food information based on scanning a bar code and compares different foods to encourage alternatives. "By providing access to this popular on-the-go nutritional scoring system, and integrating it with our other healthy living tools on MyActiveHealth, we are empowering [customers] to make those positive changes throughout the normal course of their days," says ActiveHealth President and CEO Richard Noffsinger.
