WHO issues guideline on potassium intake
The World Health Organization has set a recommendation of 3,510 milligrams of potassium per day. Potassium, which lowers blood pressure and might reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke, can be found in beans, peas, bananas, spinach, raisins, cabbage and dates.
