Nutritionist combines African-American culture and health
Tambra Raye Stevenson's day job is doing nutrition assessments at health centers in Washington, D.C., but she also helps the black community eat healthier by teaching "A Taste of African Heritage" cooking classes. The classes, which combine culture and nutrition, are being held in advance of a larger program that the nonprofit group Oldways plans to launch in February for Black History Month.
