Obama urges quick action on broad immigration overhaul
President Barack Obama said he wants Congress to act immediately on a comprehensive immigration reform bill because it could boost the country's economy by allowing companies to hire highly skilled workers from abroad. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who is working toward passing a bipartisan immigration measure in the Senate and who responded to Obama's State of the Union speech, agreed that immigration reform would bring economic benefits, but also said the U.S. needs to do more to secure its borders.
