PCI President and CEO David Sampson says he believes the property/casualty insurance industry is well-positioned to assist policyholders affected by Hurricane Sandy and its remnants. P/C insurers, however, face other major challenges, such as the "problematic and acute" convergence of politics and the economy, as well as the "threat of more costly regulations," Sampson said at the PCI Annual Meeting.
