Baby boomers have more chronic disease than their parents
West Virginia University researchers say baby boomers today are not as healthy as their parents were, having higher rates of diabetes, obesity, hypertension and self-reported disability than the generation before them. The study in JAMA Internal Medicine found while fewer baby boomers smoke, the previous generation got more regular exercise.
