Skin rebounds well with laser liposuction, according to a researcher reporting preliminary results at a meeting of the Society of Interventional Radiology. Laser liposuction dissolves fat that is removed with a hollow, pen-like device, and then a different wavelength is used to stimulate collagen production. The study did not include a standard-treatment group, and more studies are needed, the lead researcher said.
