Dunkin' Brands plans to end 2012 with 280 to 300 additional stores in the U.S. and 720 new locations worldwide, CEO Nigel Travis said in an interview with CNBC. Much of the U.S. development is focused on the West, but there is room for about 3,000 new locations east of the Mississippi River as well, he said.
