If sequestration cuts go into effect, base commissary stores will close on Wednesdays beginning in late April, officials say. "While certainly not a pleasant prospect for any of us, [the actions] are nonetheless unavoidable should sequestration occur," Defense Commissary Agency Director Joseph Jeu wrote in a memo.
