Small business owners should compare their medical plans and other benefits with what is offered by companies similar in size rather than making a decision based on cost alone, says blog Business Management Daily. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that 55% of workers at companies with 50 to 99 employees get paid sick leave, while only 50% of workers at companies with 1 to 49 employees do.
