Virgin Media has introduced a smartphone application that allows subscribers who also use the company's Virgin Phone Line service to make calls on their mobile devices using their landline accounts. By leveraging the two services, SmartCall -- which is powered by a Wi-Fi connection -- is designed to give end users all the conveniences of mobility without the added costs.
