Deborah Engel is a freelance writer, two time start-up founder and local marketing expert with 15 years of communications experience in the kids and family segment. Her business General Store Cooperative produces co-retail experiences by bringing together complimentary small businesses and local makers in one space to share overhead costs and expand each business’s marketing reach. She received a BSBA in management from Washington University in St. Louis and lives in Maplewood, NJ.
