OpenAI co-founder Andrej Karpathy has pointed out a widening gap between casual AI chatbot users and those who build software. In this latest episode of The Mostly AI SmartPod, Marcus Torres, Quickbase’s chief product officer, joins the show to argue that a key group is being overlooked in Karpathy’s statement: employees who have never coded but know what needs fixing. Torres asserts that these employees know exactly which processes are inefficient and what changes would make a meaningful difference, positioning them as essential voices in the conversation about AI implementation.
Of course, the NotBots (Michael Domingo, Victoria Martinez and Susan Rush) have some thoughts during All Talk with the NotBots.
