With 58% of respondents to a Silicon Beach Training survey saying advertising interferes with their Facebook experience, will the site's adoption of hashtags really help marketers? "With enough user uptake and promotion, combined with a clever strategy and a dash of luck, hashtags could be a great way for brands to improve exposure on Facebook," Aaron Charlie writes. Plus, if Facebook users conduct a search for hashtags, they might be more receptive to related advertising on that page, Charlie writes.
