Kansas snowstorm causes roof collapses, power outages

A spring snowstorm knocked out power for some Kansas customers and also caused area buildings to collapse from the weight of the snow. Westar Energy reported about 3,500 customers were without power after the snowstorm felled 200 distribution poles. Roof collapses damaged several buildings in the counties of Kingman, Harper, Harvey and Reno, officials said.
