Fraudsters take advantage of consumers' limited ACA knowledge

A low level of knowledge regarding the Affordable Care Act makes consumers vulnerable to scammers and identity thieves, the Federal Trade Commission is warning. Some are likely to pose as certified navigators and ask for cash up front to help consumers enroll in a health plan, says Lois Greisman, of the FTC's marketing practices division.
