Auberge uses small size as a marketing advantage

With nine luxury hotel properties, Auberge Resorts says it can devote more energy to building client relationships that sometimes are not attainable by bigger brands. "The biggest challenge for a small team is keeping up with the changing marketing sphere," said Caroline MacDonald, a marketing executive with the California-based company, adding that having a smaller marketing team makes it simpler to adapt to consumer needs.
